The ALTOSONIC 5 is a multi-path ultrasonic transit-time flowmeter for custody transfer of liquids. Its eight-path sensor includes a central path to distinguish turbulent, transition and laminar flow, so the reduced-bore version has no Reynolds number limitation, plus a dedicated vertical diagnostic path for full-pipe detection. With no moving or obstructing parts there is no wear or pressure loss, and long-term stability reduces proving and calibration costs.
