The INVALCO W Series is a 4" or 6" standard-style liquid turbine meter with the industry's typical three-piece rotor/stator design. INVALCO pioneered tungsten carbide bearings for petroleum service; the double-sleeve tungsten carbide bearing and flow-through design give long mean time between failures in non-lubricating and solids-contaminated fluids. Up- and downstream rotor supports double as flow-straightening vanes, and the heavy-duty helical CD4MCu rotor is built for long life.

How to read the model code
Series: W = tungsten carbide sleeve bearings; WFP = Rulon bearings
Body style: 3 = male NPT; 4 = ANSI RF flanged; 4R = ANSI RTJ flanged; 6 = grooved (Victaulic, 4" and 6" only); 9 = wafer (no flanges; not available with Rulon)
Meter size: 4 = 4", 110 to 1,110 GPM (as printed); 6 = 6", 300 to 3,000 GPM
Specific connection: 02 = 150#; 07 = 300#; 14 = 600#; 36 = 1500# flange
Special features: HT = high temperature (silver solder)
Order pickup coils, cable and electronics separately; an RF (zero-drag) pickup is required to meet stated accuracy
Bulletin errors to note: the code example "W 4 3 02 = W4/302" combines body style 3 (male NPT, shown as N/A for 4" and 6" in the dimension table) with a 150# flange connection; the 4" range is 110-1,100 GPM in the capacity table but 110 to 1,110 GPM in the model code; Celsius conversions are wrong for the low temperatures (-200 °F printed as 130 °C, -450 °F as 267 °C); the pressure drop chart still shows the 1/2"-3" sizes that the Rev 0.1 notes say were discontinued; and pages 2-3 carry a 1/19 date against 7/19 on page 1. Confirm the full model code with the factory.
