The Smith Meter Fmc2 Flow Management Computer is a user-programmable, microprocessor-based instrument that monitors and controls the flow of liquid and gas petroleum products, either as a stand-alone flow computer or as a building block in a supervisory control system. An 8-inch touch-screen HMI drives scalable Field Input/Output Blocks (FIOBs). One software version handles gas or liquid, US or metric units, and mixed fluid types per meter run, and it supports PD, conventional and helical turbine, ultrasonic and orifice meters for pipeline and batch deliveries and proving.

How to specify / order
The bulletin gives no model code. Provide with your RFQ:
Number of meter runs (up to 6) and meter types (PD, turbine, ultrasonic, orifice) for each
Liquid, gas or mixed service, products and measurement standards required
Prover type (bidirectional, master meter) and densitometer, pressure and temperature inputs
Control needs: flow/pressure PI loops, MOV sequencing, sampler, redundancy (dual or triple)
Communication to SCADA/host (Modbus serial or TCP) and optional Remote HMI software
Bulletin notes: the RTD accuracy is printed "+/-0.2°F, +/-0.83 maximum" with no unit on the second value; the HMI and the FIOB are both listed at 3.9 lb (1.77 kg); "Proportion/Integral" and "typcal" typos.
