The Smith Meter Guardsman L Series are rimless-rotor turbine meters built for truck and rail loading racks, where they provide custody-transfer accuracy on refined petroleum products. Three models cover 1 to 4 inch lines: the LB (ball bearing, 1-1.5 in), the LJ (tungsten carbide journal bearing, 1.5-2 in) and the LSJ (journal bearing with an integral strate-plate flow conditioner, 3-4 in). Horizontal and vertical (upward flow) versions are offered, and the meters work with AccuLoad turbine meter diagnostics.
