The Smith Meter MPU 1600c is a multipath transit-time ultrasonic flowmeter for custody-transfer measurement of natural gas. It meets OIML R137 Accuracy Class 0.5 with only 5D of upstream straight pipe and no flow conditioner, and has been verified to AGA Report No. 9 (2017), ISO 17089 and WELMEC 7.2. Titanium-encapsulated transducers are flush-mounted and can be retracted under pressure, and the Series C UMC electronics offer an optional 5.7-inch touch screen, Ethernet (copper and fiber) and HART.
