The Smith Meter Networked MeterBlock (NMB) is an Ethernet-enabled field I/O device that connects turbine and PD meter runs, and other sensors, straight to industrial networks and cloud applications. It streams flow rate and raw measurement data, runs basic logic and closed-loop control, and is reached from any web browser on a PC, tablet or phone. The optional Turbine Meter Diagnostics firmware watches liquid turbine meter behavior and alerts operators to problems in real time.

How to read the model code
Example: NMT-XP-TMD (with instrument housing). Read the code left to right:
Position 1 (Block type): NMB = Networked MeterBlock; NMT = with low-level signal preamplifier inputs
Position 2 (Packaging): PM = panel-mount Class I Div 2 (Zone 2) module; XP = explosion-proof Div 1 (Zone 1) / Div 2 aluminum housing with three 3/4" NPT entries
Position 3 (Application): STD = raw I/O, meter and communications; TMD = STD plus Turbine Meter Diagnostics
Position 4 (Accessories, XP only): Blank = none; 01 = 1/2" NPT adapter (Genesis PD meter); 02 = 3/4" NPT adapter (PRIME 4 PD meter); 06 = PA-6 turbine transmitter in a larger enclosure with 1" NPT adapter (requires NMB)
