The Smith Meter Sentry Series is a rimmed-rotor, helical-blade turbine meter for custody transfer of crude oil and refined products on larger pipelines. Upstream and downstream stators, tungsten carbide bearings and a hydrodynamic thrust-balance system keep wear low and accuracy high, and all wetted parts are stainless steel. Bidirectional flow, multiple pickup coils for pulse security, and online diagnostics (AccuLERT) are available.
