The Smith Meter Guardsman G Series is a bladed-rotor turbine meter in 1.5 to 4 inch sizes for custody transfer of petroleum, petrochemical and chemical liquids, from natural gas liquids (NGL) to light fuel oils, on small product pipelines and terminals. The rotor rides on tungsten carbide journal bearings supported by a locking upstream cantilevered stator, with a hydrodynamic thrust balance to limit wear. Measuring chamber and internals are stainless steel.
