The Smith Meter Model 200-60A Pressure Sustaining and Model 201-60A Pressure Relief valves are hydraulically operated, diaphragm-actuated, globe-pattern control valves with a Model 60A pilot that senses inlet pressure. The 200-60A holds a constant upstream pressure - for example keeping back pressure on the meters of a multi-position loading rack fed by an undersized pump so the product does not cavitate - and is a flow-to-close design that closes if the diaphragm fails. The 201-60A is a flow-to-open bypass relief valve installed in a recirculating loop on the pump discharge; it opens when pump discharge pressure exceeds the 60A setting and keeps flowing even if the diaphragm fails. Each includes a 09SC self-cleaning strainer and a Model 13 needle valve for speed adjustment.

The bulletin has no position-by-position model code. Per its ordering section, specify:

Bulletin notes: the first line prints the model as "20060A" (200-60A); the materials table lists the main valve as Model 202/203 although the valves are called 200/201; footnote numbering on the LS Buna row is inconsistent. The dimension table prints the 2" pilot-envelope dimension D as 7.5 in (140 mm); 7.5 in is about 191 mm.
