Smith Meter Model 300C Series Preset Counters are four-digit (340C) or five-digit (350C) two-stage preset (count-down) counters that mount directly under a 600 Series Large Numeral Counter on any Smith PD meter. With the right accessories they trigger two-stage valve closure mechanically (mechanical set-stop valve) or electrically for precise, shock-free delivery of a preset quantity. The first-stage signal is field-adjustable from 3 to 9, 10 to 90 or 100 to 900 right-hand wheel units, and the final-stage signal just before zero is set at start-up.
