The ALTOSONIC V12 is a 12-chord ultrasonic transit-time flowmeter for custody transfer measurement of natural gas, and was the first ultrasonic meter to achieve OIML R137 Class 0.5. Five measurement planes give excellent swirl immunity and built-in redundancy, so it needs no flow conditioner and only 5D straight inlet to comply with AGA 9, ISO 17089, OIML and MID. Dedicated chords support diagnostics, contamination detection and predictive maintenance, and a remote expert system can verify custody-transfer accuracy around the clock.
