Smith Meter GLS Series steel strainers protect PD and turbine metering systems from dirt and foreign material. Fabricated to DIN/EN and AD 2000 specifications, they feature a streamlined flow path, large screen area and a separable stainless steel perforated-plate basket that withstands 3.3 bar differential without bursting. Nine vessel models cover meter sizes from small PD meters up to M16 and 10" turbine meters, with multiple baskets standard on larger models. Options include higher pressure ratings, Viton seals, swing-arm cover assist, air release kits, differential pressure gauge kits and 10-80 mesh inner liners.
