Smith Meter loading system modules are factory-assembled, skid-mounted metering modules for loading (and unloading) refined petroleum products, built from Smith Meter components on a stainless steel frame. The basic module covers the complete measuring section from the supply-line inlet through the Weights & Measures air purger to the control valve outlet, or optionally to the top or bottom loading arm. Modules are fully flow- and function-tested at the factory before shipment, and can be combined (for example four modules for one loading bay) to support up to six loading arms per module array. The bulletin describes the European-built (Smith Meter GmbH, Ellerbek) design for PED, ATEX and MID requirements.
