Smith Meter In-Line Strainers protect metering systems from dirt and foreign material and are offered in a straight-through style from 2" to 8" and an angle style in 4" and 6". They meet ASME B31.3 design requirements and are NACE MR0175 compliant for hydrogen sulfide service, with ASME B16.5 raised-face flanges, a removable basket with basket seal, 0.50" NPT differential pressure taps and a 1.50" NPT cover vent for an air release kit. They operate in vertical or horizontal positions, with optional DP gauge and switch kits for monitoring basket condition.
