The Smith Meter Model 215B Digital Control Valve is a high-performance segmented, equal-percentage V-Ball valve with a solenoid-controlled pneumatic or hydraulic spring-diaphragm actuator. With a Smith Meter electronic valve controller such as an AccuLoad or microLoad.net it provides low pressure drop preset loading and flow control, and it is well suited to controlling product at very low flow rates with minimal cavitation - typically the blend-product valve in hybrid / ratio blending systems alongside a Model 210 on the base product. Operation is independent of viscosity and pressure, the valve is spring-loaded fail-to-close with Class V shut-off, and a pre-wired explosion-proof junction box is standard.
