The Smith Meter MPU 1200 Series B is a six-path (12-transducer) ultrasonic gas flowmeter with non-intrusive, flush-mounted titanium transducers for custody transfer of dry, high-pressure gas onshore and offshore. Its path layout compensates for swirl and crossflow, giving bidirectional measurement with ±0.1% uncertainty when flow calibrated. Digital signal processing tolerates high ultrasonic noise, and transducers can be retracted under pressure without shutdown or recalibration. Sound-velocity, density and full diagnostics are available through WinScreen software.
