The INVALCO Series 472 is a single-port, diaphragm-operated valve for the firetube fuel gas supply line. It installs upside down, downstream of the low-water fuel gas shut-in valve, so condensation drains out of the diaphragm case. Stainless steel trim, replaceable seat for lower repair cost, and soft seat for shutoff.

Bulletin issues to confirm with the factory: a heading calls it the "Series 472 Cast Iron Valve" although the body and cover are listed as brass; the specification table is misaligned (the diaphragm line shows the model number and the diaphragm material line shows "10 sq. in."); note 1 says standard topworks has a 65 sq. in. effective area, which conflicts with the 10 sq. in. diaphragm; the features list "3 trim designs" but only one model is offered; and the parts list spells "Golbe Body".
