The Smith Meter Model 200A Series counter is a horizontal, non-reset mechanical register for Smith PD meters with eight non-resettable numeral wheels plus a finely graduated disc for an additional digit of resolution. It is available in the same units of registration as the 600 Series LNC. The SM-200A is the same counter fitted with an explosion-proof switch-type pulse transmitter (the Stack Monitor, listed separately).

Counter model numbers are taken from the Stack Monitor bulletin SS01042, which notes that additional counter models are available; SS01100 itself gives no model list for the 200A.
