The Smith Meter Ultra 4c is a four-path liquid ultrasonic flowmeter for custody transfer of light to medium crude oils, refined products, NGL and LPG. Non-intrusive, flush-mounted transducers sit in removable wells, so they can be replaced under pressure with no special tooling, and the full-bore body has the pressure drop of straight pipe. Bidirectional measurement, velocity-of-sound based density and viscosity estimates, and an optional color touchscreen make it suited to pipelines, terminals, FPSOs and leak detection.
