The INVALCO Series 418 JT is a diaphragm-operated two-way globe valve for high pressure drop gas applications (JT service), designed to reduce vibration and extend valve life. It has a ductile iron body, hammer union body cover for quick repair, a hardened stainless hexagonal plug and seat, and a wide range of trim sizes. NACE (RNCE) version available.

How to specify / order
- 1" threaded globe, 3/8" trim: model DXSGJT-160-418, part number P522696, Cv 4.0, Cg 116, 6,000 psi, 45 lb
- 1" threaded globe, 3/4" trim: model DXSGJT-160-418, part number printed P22232, Cv 14.1, Cg 409 (3,000 psi max. differential)
- 2" threaded globe, 1" trim: model DSG-240-418, part number P522148, Cv 20.5, Cg 549, 4,000 psi, 65 lb
- Per the bulletin, specify model number, part number and trim description; part numbers apply only to the exact configuration described
- State if NACE (RNCE) construction is required
Bulletin issues to confirm with the factory: the 3/4" trim part number is printed as P22232 (one digit shorter than the other P5xxxxx numbers) and has no weight; the dimension table lists Series 420 models (DSG-160-420, DSG-260-420) instead of the 418 JT models; and the 2" model is printed DSG-240-418 without the JT designation. The 2" model DSG-240-418 also appears in bulletin SSIN046 (see the INVALCO Series 418 / 420 listing) with different part numbers (80004xxx series); confirm which part number applies to JT service.
Pricing and lead time are quoted per configuration. Send the model code (or your application details), product, flow range, and pressure/temperature to Flow Measurement Services for a quote. Specifications summarized from Smith Meter (INVALCO) bulletin SSIN047 Rev 0.1 (1/19); confirm current data with the factory before ordering.
